We had the two older kids this weekend and custody court is on Wed. They want to live with their Dad. We had to say goodbye not knowing when we would see them again. Un-nerving for me. They are now 6 hours away and the second school in 4 weeks of being back in school. They didn't want to go back to their Mother's. Sad to see them that unhappy.
I got nothing done in the last few days besides kids and traveling to pick them up where ever they were. Hopefully we can have a more normal week even though it will be stressful. Divorce and custody battles are not fun. Chris

unfortunately they are not fun and the children are always the ones who suffer. sorry that you have to go through this.
we did too with my brother. his girls were 3 and 5. Now they are 21 and 19 and two great girls. the few times we saw them growing up we had a rule. in this house no badmouthing was allowed by either side. it was neutral ground and they later respected that. their mom could not come over and talk about brother, he could not talk about her. the oldest one calls me her "other mom". the best title ever! hang in for this too shall pass......
